  Color & Weight Policy
Disc Golf Store now provides you with the ability to select exact weights and colors as you shop!

We classify all discs as an exact weight and color, and update our site with this new stock at least once a day. This information then appears next to the product listing for every disc we carry. We take a similar approach with other products as well, except that we list the options that are specific to that item rather than color and weight. For example, when you look at our bag selection, you will see the color we currently have in stock for every bag. This way, if you want a green bag you get a green bag. Simple, right? That’s what we think, too.

At Disc Golf Store, our focus is simple – You! That starts with providing you with the information you need to know about the products you are ordering so that you can make an informed buying decision.

You may be asking, which colors exactly do we use, and how were they chosen? Well, we called in the experts! After examining tons of plastic, our graphics pro ended up with 31 color descriptions that would cover every disc out there.

Disc Golf Store currently classifies all discs as one of the following colors: Yellow-Green, Light Green, Bright Green, Dark Green, Blue-Green, Light Blue, Blue, Dark Blue, Brown, Gold, Beige, Pale Pink, Pale Purple, Pink, Purple, Red, Maroon, Orange-Red, Orange, Pale Orange, Yellow, Bright Yellow, Gray/Silver, Black, White, Clear, Multi-Color (often called "swirls" or "blends"), Tie-Dye, Glow-in-the-Dark, Ultraviolet, and SuperColor (full-color prints).

What is this sport anyway? Disc golf (also referred to as "frisbee golf") is played much like traditional golf. Instead of a ball and clubs, however, players use a flying disc, or Frisbee®. The sport was formalized in the 1970s, and shares with "ball golf" the object of completing each hole in the fewest number of strokes (or, in the case of disc golf, fewest number of throws). Currently, there are more than 1,750 disc golf courses worldwide, with over 1,400 in the USA.
